Fast Track LPA Service
How Fast Track works
Fast Track is designed for people who already have a clear sense of the arrangements they would like to put in place and are comfortable completing their information online.
It offers a structured way to provide the details needed for your Lasting Power of Attorney, followed by a careful professional review to ensure the document reflects your decisions and has been prepared correctly.
The process is efficient and focused, without losing the care or attention that matters when appointing people to make important decisions on your behalf.
You won’t need to attend a meeting unless it becomes clear that further discussion would be helpful. Instead, the work is guided through clear forms, written feedback and review, allowing you to complete the process at a pace that suits you.
This service is provided as part of Elephant Legal’s non-reserved legal services.
Pricing
Fast Track begins with an initial deposit of £28.50. This represents 30% of the cost of preparing one Lasting Power of Attorney and allows me to begin reviewing your information and instructions.
The total cost will depend on the number of Lasting Powers of Attorney being prepared:
£95* for a single LPA
£190* for two LPAs
£380 for four LPAs
Your initial deposit will be deducted from the total service fee. Once your information has been reviewed and the number of LPAs has been confirmed, you will be told the remaining balance before your documents are prepared.
Office of the Public Guardian registration fees are additional to the Elephant Legal service fees shown above and will be included in the total amount payable.

Your journey with Fast Track
-
Getting started
Once you choose Fast Track, the initial £28.50 deposit is paid and we confirm the details needed to begin.
You’ll receive clear information about the process, pricing and what to expect, together with the necessary client care documents. Identity checks are also completed so the matter can proceed securely and properly.
Nothing is prepared at this stage — it is about making sure the foundations are in place.
-
Sharing your information
You’ll complete a clear, structured form setting out the information needed for your Lasting Power of Attorney.
This includes details about you, the type of LPA you want to create, the people you wish to appoint as attorneys, any replacement attorneys, and any preferences or instructions you want to include.
Guidance is built into the form, and if anything needs clarification, we’ll come back to you in writing.
-
Review and preparation
Once your information has been received, it is carefully reviewed to make sure the proposed arrangements are clear and can be reflected properly in the LPA.
The total fee is then confirmed based on the number of LPAs being prepared, and your initial deposit is deducted from that amount.
Once the remaining balance has been paid, your LPA documents are prepared for you to review.
-
Finalising and registration
You’ll have the opportunity to check the documents and confirm that the details and arrangements are correct.
Once everything is agreed, you’ll be guided through the signing process so the documents can be completed in the correct order.
The Office of the Public Guardian registration fees are then added to the total amount payable, and the completed LPAs are submitted for registration. Support remains available through to completion.

Fast Track LPA FAQs
Questions before you begin
Clear answers to some of the questions you may have before starting the Fast Track LPA process.
Can I make changes after receiving my draft LPA?
Yes. You’ll have the opportunity to review your draft documents and request changes before anything is finalised.
If amendments are needed, they’ll be made and checked so the final documents reflect your decisions clearly.
What happens if I need more help than expected?
That’s absolutely fine. If it becomes clear that you would benefit from more explanation or discussion, we’ll let you know and agree the best way to continue.
Fast Track is designed to be efficient, but it does not prevent you from asking questions or receiving support where needed.
Will I need to attend a meeting?
In most Fast Track matters, no meeting is required.
The process is usually completed through structured forms, written communication and document review. If a conversation would help clarify part of your arrangements, we’ll contact you and agree the next step.
Who is the Fast Track LPA service suitable for?
Fast Track works best for people who already have a reasonably clear idea of which type of LPA they want, who they wish to appoint as attorneys and whether they want replacement attorneys.
It is also suitable for people who are comfortable providing their information online and communicating mainly in writing.
If you’re unsure about these decisions or would prefer to discuss your options before proceeding, the Guided LPA Service may be a better fit.
Does the service include help with signing and registration?
Yes. Once your documents have been reviewed and agreed, you’ll receive guidance on how they must be signed and completed in the correct order.
The completed LPAs will then be submitted to the Office of the Public Guardian for registration, with support available throughout the process.
Are the Office of the Public Guardian fees included?
The prices shown are Elephant Legal’s service fees.
Office of the Public Guardian registration fees are additional and will be added to the total amount payable. You’ll be told the full amount before registration proceeds.

Health & Welfare LPA Guidance
Talk it through before you decide
You do not need to have everything worked out before asking for guidance.
A short conversation can help you understand whether a Health and Welfare LPA is suitable, who you might appoint, and whether your wishes need to be recorded in more detail.
Clear guidance before difficult decisions arise.
